LONGroadtobookshelves

October was an eventful month for Monstrous!  First, I took a trip to NYC to meet with the delightful team at HarperCollins. Getting to see where the magic happens is pretty darn inspiring and energizing! And naturally, there were lots of cupcakes (Did you expect any less?).

Teeny, tiny delicious cupcakes

Then Monstrous went to New York Comic Con! HarperCollins had a booth there and a fun promotion called the Spin & Win, and Monstrous was one of ten Winter 2015 ARCs up for grabs:

How FUN is this???

Meanwhile, my awesome agency and their fabulous foreign rights director sold Russian rights for Monstrous to Kariera! *cue confetti*

Last, and anything but least, I’m extraordinarily fortunate to have had several authors generously take the time to read my weird little book and offer a blurb for it. They are my heroes! My deepest gratitude to Anne Ursu, Claire Legrand, Natalie Lloyd, Emma Trevayne, and Rebecca Behrens for being so kind and generous. I cannot thank them enough!

And coming up in November…Keep your eyes open for some fun giveaways here on this blog! 🙂
