I’m a big fan of music. My iPod headphones may as well be glued to my ears. But there are some people who take their love of music a little too far (and public)!
Take this guy for example:
I was on my way to class one evening, chatting with a friend on the train, when a man dressed in jeans, a wife beater, and a leather jacket (with some very sporty looking chains) boarded our already very packed car and staked out a spot directly behind my friend. At first glance, he looked like he just stepped off the set of Grease. However, as I tried to have a conversation with my friend, I couldn’t help but notice he was moving around—a lot.
Initially, he had his back to us and was listening to his iPod. I didn’t realize what the thrashing was all about until he whipped around, mouthing the words to what must have been a particularly passionate part of the song to which he was listening into a non-existent microphone.
It was all I could do to keep from bursting out laughing!
My friend didn’t quite notice this at first, but she did see my face contorting as I struggled not to laugh. Because this guy did not stop. He kept (mostly) silently emoting into his fist throughout the entire ride on the T!
Abso-freaking-lutely hilarious!
